Oakleaf School

Oakleaf School
Hired by the Board in 2004, JRA was commissioned to design the new Oakleaf School for Clay County Schools. The school opened as a K-8 in August of 2006 and is to be converted to a 7-8 middle school after completion of a nearby elementary school. As part of the project, JRA was tasked with master planning the entire 100-acre site for Oakleaf School and a future high school immediately adjacent to it. The school consists of an "H" shaped building layout with a detached gymnasium. This project was opened one year ahead of schedule.
